Facial features turned out quite well with Cal's original photo looking out to the skies. Background fabric with twinkly stars in the night was only fitting for the season. His beard has a bit of whimsy with all the vintage toys in it. SantaCal's vibrant red shirt is actually a children's costume Cal found in a thrift shop. It was so much to make and had a lot of meaning for me and my husband Cal. He never left my side when I was diagnosed with brain cancer and supported me as best I can to try and rebuild my physical strength and cognitive skills.
